Formerly The Country Club at Lake MacGregor, Putnam National Golf Club reopened in the spring of 2004 as Putnam National Golf Club, a public, daily fee 18-hole championship course owned and operated by Putnam County. The course is located in the lower Hudson Valley town of Mahopac, New York, and is...renowned for grand vistas and beautiful rolling topography. Fall golf is particularly spectacular. Recent improvements include the addition of a modern irrigation system and the purchase of state-of-the-art golf course maintenance equipment. Course conditions are simply outstanding from early spring until late fall. |
