Putnam National Golf Club, a public, daily fee 18-hole championship course owned by Putnam County and operated by RDC Golf Group. The course is located in the lower Hudson Valley town of Mahopac, New York, and is...renowned for grand vistas and beautiful rolling topography. Putnam National first opened for golf in 1959 as Putnam Country Club and was later known as Lake MacGregor. Fall golf is particularly spectacular due to the scenic hillsides and changing foliage.
