Formerly The Country Club at Lake MacGregor, Putnam National Golf Club reopened in the spring of 2004 as Putnam National Golf Club, a public, daily fee 18-hole championship course owned by Putnam County and operated by RDC Golf Group. The course is located in the lower Hudson Valley town of Mahopac, New York, and is...renowned for grand vistas and beautiful rolling topography. Fall golf is particularly spectacular. Recent improvements include the addition of a modern irrigation system, the purchase of state-of-the-art golf course maintenance equipment and new Yamaha golf carts. Course conditions are simply outstanding from early spring until late fall. |
